Is Butcen free?

Yes. Web and Android versions are free to use. Some advanced features or AI quotas may depend on your plan settings.

Where do live rates come from?

FX, gold and silver rates are pulled from TCMB-based sources and refresh periodically while the app is open. Stock quotes may use Yahoo Finance. Rates are informational only — not investment advice.

Is my data secure?

Traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Sensitive fields can use on-device encryption so the server does not see plaintext. See Data Security.

Do web and mobile sync?

Yes. Sign in with the same account; transactions, budgets and assets stay in sync.

Can I export data?

Yes. CSV export and PDF report sharing are available in the app.

What does Butcen AI do?

Describe a transaction in plain language (or use voice) and the assistant prepares a draft with category and account. Quotas may apply.

Can someone else share my account?

Yes. Sub-users can share the same financial data with separate logins and permissions you control.
